I
knew from the start that taking the risk
of creating an honest, reality-based comic
strip meant that I would be exposing the
good, bad and indifferent about myself,
my life and those around me whose lives
I cherish, including illness and death.
Not always funny but always real. My opportunities
to bring Ginger to the comics pages on
a daily basis, sharing her with all of
you, will never be forgotten. Nor will
the overwhelming amount of thoughts and
prayers I have received from around the
world in these past few weeks.
I
can't thank you all enough for adoring
her as I did. May she rest in Peace.

In
memory of Ginger, please give generously
to one or all of these fine charities:
